
I've been working in Canadian advertising for over 15 years, collaborating with a wide range of brands each with its own challenges and lessons that shaped how I think about creativity. I believe all good marketing should be aspirational even if the only goal is to make someone laugh.
I’ve worked as an art director in agencies, a designer and animator in studios, and as a freelancer tackling whatever creative challenge comes my way. I get genuinely excited by strong typography, a logo that just works, and the kind of design craft that makes things feel effortless.
My first love was motion design back in the late ’90s when I opened Flash for the first time and made website intros that were… let’s just say, a bit much. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Beyond that here are some other things I believe in:
- Always have something to look forward to.
- Upgrade for onion rings when given the option.
- Attend at least one metal show a year.
- Don't overwear your contact lenses.
- Stand up to shake someone’s hand.
- It's never a mistake to try.
